Have A Picnic On The Torrens For Mother’s Day

Something a teeny bit different to the usual Mother’s Day haunts of brunches and buffet lunches, a BBQ Buoy takes you and your family and friends on a ride over the beautiful Torrens.

Mother’s Day is slowly creeping up and if you still don’t know how to treat her then buoy oh buoy do we have the solution for you! Celebrate Mum’s special day by taking her on board a BBQ Buoy.

Something a teeny bit different to the usual Mother’s Day haunts of brunches and buffet lunches, a BBQ Buoy takes you and your family and friends on a ride over the beautiful Torrens.

It’s not just a scenic trip, you have an array of food and drink options like grazing boxes, BBQ meats and vegetables (so dad can show off his grilling skills) as well as an array of South Australian wines and beers.

On top of this, BBQ Buoys supplies a portable Bluetooth speaker, an esky filled with ice, cutlery and platers, so the majority of the job is already done for you!

With Mother’s Day bookings filling up all around the state, we’d recommend booking ahead of time. BBQ Buoys have a variety of packages that you can pick from.

Each boat fits around 9 – 10 people and if the Adelaide weather decides to put a spanner in the works remember that BBQ Buoys do have vouchers for their packages so mum can choose the date that best suits her.

BBQ Buoys can be found down Pinky Flat. Open Friday to Sunday, from 12pm to 8pm. For more info about the experience, check out their website here.
