This December, the skies are set to light up as TreeClimb brings us a new aerial adventure, this time in Adelaide’s northern suburbs.
With popular locations in the CBD and Kuitpo Forest, TreeClimb is planting its roots in the city of Salisbury’s Harry Bowey Reserve. This comes after a unique vision was born in 2014 to build a nature-based adventure park in the heart of the Adelaide Parklands.
Ten years later, this exciting addition to the growing list of recreational activities in the northern suburbs marks TreeClimb’s third South Australian location. Plus, it is set to arrive just in time for the school holidays!
It offers a range of suspended tree-based adventure courses, designed to provide a tailored experience that will challenge, educate and excite any and all thrill-seekers and nature enthusiasts.
Each course has an Eco Hut where you’ll check in for your climb. It’s always important to arrive early to your booked time as this is when your safety briefing, harnessing and practice course commences. Once these important steps are completed, adventurers will have plenty of time to explore amongst the trees.
Each TreeClimb is made up of a range of different courses that vary in difficulty and zip lines. At all times your trolley is connected to the line, and each course will finish with a zipline to bring you back to the ground. Once you’re back on the ground, this is when you’ll be able to disconnect from the course. Throughout the courses, there are crew members who can help, and guests can take breaks when necessary between courses.
Well-tested European technology ensures the course’s constructions have no lasting effect on the natural environment, instead enabling growth, health and maturity in our forests. TreeClimb carefully preserves tree health through regular audits and arborist reports.
The new Salisbury course is designed with the community in mind, reflecting the area’s natural environment.
