Tribute sensation The 60 Four coming to Adelaide this week

Do you like Human Nature? You’re going to love these guys. The 60 Four are headed to Adelaide to perform hits from the ’60s and ’70s.

One of the country’s premier tribute acts, The 60 Four – having won a string of awards – will perform in Adelaide this week, having enjoyed shows in Perth, Melbourne, Ballarat and Sydney earlier this year.

Do you like Human Nature? You’re going to love these guys.

The group perform classic hits by legendary artists such as The Beach Boys, The Beatles, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Elvis Presley, and Johnny O’Keefe, in a dazzling high energy fully choreographed production backed by a stunning 9-piece band.

But the special thing about The 60 Four is that they are proud South Australians, and they started singing together organically, in a music classroom at high school.

“Our high school music teacher, Michael Griffiths, introduced us to the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. The rest is history!” Director Ben Francis said.

“Basically, it was the intricate harmonies of the ’60s that drew us in immediately. The ‘60s was such a musically rich and experimental time, and you can still hear its influence in songs produced today. When we perform, younger people often approach us saying, “I had no idea I knew so many of these tunes!” That’s the magic of the ’60s; it’s timeless, cross-generational, and it resonates with everyone, young and old.”

It’s not often you see four young guys performing the songs of yesteryear. But that’s what The 60 Four bring. Yesterdays songs paired with todays production values – and a whole lot of energy to boot.

“We’re backed by a spectacular 9-piece band made up of local musicians. It’s a big, Las Vegas style show. You’ll be up and dancing in no time!”
