Madame Hanoi’s Bao Bar returns this Thursday with everyone’s favourite soft snacks… at just $5 a bao
Running until April 1, from 5pm ’til 7pm on Thursdays, Madame Hanoi is dedicating Thursday nights to your favourite soft, smooth and spongy snacks with eight delicious fillings to try alongside special prices on selected beer and wine.
There’s a selection of eight tantalising bao to choose from, including spicy tofu, crispy pork, chicken with hoisin sauce and chilli mayo, Wagyu beef cheek, chilli prawn, braised lamb shanks and matcha bao.
There’s also a mouth-watering friend coconut dessert bao featuring pandan vanilla ice-cream, caramel popcorn, raspberry candy and coconut sauce.
Also on offer will be $8 drinks including a range of tap beer, Rieslingfreak no. 5 Riesling and Rusden ‘Driftsands’ GSM.
The Bao Bar menu has been curated by Madame Hanoi head chef, Raj Kumar.
Chef Raj Kumar joined SkyCity Adelaide in 2017 as Head Chef at Madame Hanoi. Raj’s zest for cooking has been inspired by his father, who was a chef at the luxury Shangri-La Hotel in Fiji.
Over the years, Raj sharpened his expertise and passion in the kitchen in Fiji, New Zealand and throughout Australia across a number of different cuisines, and he has now discovered his exciting niche, bringing French influence through Vietnamese cuisine at Madame Hanoi.
SkyCity Adelaide’s Madame Hanoi is a multiple award-winning French-Vietnamese bar and bistro.
Madame Hanoi is a venue to savour barista coffee or cold-drip, single origin Vietnamese coffee, and assorted sweet and savoury delights.
Gather to delight in an impressive wine selection, draught and craft beers and fresh full-flavoured French-Vietnamese dishes, best enjoyed in a shared grazing style.
Bao Bar will run until April 1, from 5pm ’til 7pm on Thursdays.
