Just 40 minutes from the Adelaide tollgate, this quaint Langhorne Creek winery is offering a night of good food and entertainment for locals and those looking for a twilight city escape.

From 5-9pm this Saturday 18 September, visitors can enjoy high quality wines, a range of vegan and vegetarian cuisine all baked on site, and live music from Adelaide Hills duo, Ella & Sienna.

The girls will be performing a mix of acoustic modern country, pop and rock — performances that have been recently commended in the Ekka Country Music Showdown, and a placement within the top 3 of the Gympie Music Muster Talent Search.

Judy Cross, co-owner of Angas Plains Winery said the Twilight Music events began after Covid, in an effort to bring performers back to the stage in front of a live audience.

Regardless of the weather, visitors can snuggle up next to a heater in an undercover shelter, with a glass of sparkling cabernet or the like, which Mrs Cross said pairs well with their homemade pizza.

A large range of local wines are on offer, and beer and cider is also available for non-wine drinkers.

Bookings are essential, and can be made through the Angas Plains Wines website.

Tickets are capped at $10pp.
