Seacliff Golf Course is teeing off a brand new chapter. After a big revamp, the course is prepping the greens, swinging opening the gates and getting set to welcome golfers back in style. Locals are already keen to grab their clubs and hit the fairways.
To celebrate the club crew are throwing a twilight launch on Friday 2 May, and everyone’s invited. Expect good vibes, fresh turf and a proper gathering to christen the new clubhouse.
The course has always had a loyal following, but this new beginning takes things up a notch. Thanks to a major investment from the City of Marion, the space now feels more like a destination than just a golf course. There’s a brand-new clubhouse, more room to catch up, and views that really put it on the map.
Zac Burton from Belair Turf, who’s overseeing the site, says it’s been a proud moment watching the course come back to life.
“It’s incredibly rewarding to see the redevelopment come to life. We’re especially grateful to the City of Marion for their vision and investment in transforming Seacliff Golf Course into a first-class community asset,” he said.

Zac says the feedback so far has been fantastic. Regulars have been commenting on the fresh new look and upgraded facilities, while newcomers are being drawn in by the whole vibe.
“Many have commented on how much the new clubhouse enhances their experience, whether it’s grabbing a coffee, beer or wine, socialising after a round or simply enjoying the environment,” he said.
It’s clear this relaunch isn’t just about golf. The course now feels more like a local hangout than a traditional club. There’s a sense that anyone’s welcome, whether you’re there to play, learn, or just enjoy the views and good company.

“The improvements have helped create a welcoming space for all, from passionate golfers to families and local groups,” Zac added.
“We’re starting to see an increase in foot traffic and new interest in the game, which is exactly the kind of challenge Belair Turf is excited to take on,” Zac said.

If you’ve been curious, now’s the perfect time to swing by. Grab your mates, head to Seacliff and see what it’s all about. Whether you’re out to play or just after a good view with a drink in hand, this is the kind of Friday night you’ll want to be part of.
The launch runs from 5 to 8 pm on Friday 2 May, with live acoustic music, a putting comp, free bites and drinks, and a high-tech golf simulator to try. Mayor Kris Hanna will be there too, officially opening the clubrooms at around six o’clock.
