There are plans to demolish an existing shopping centre along Prospect Road and replace it with a two-storey shopping complex. Think large, fresh and modern. Here is what we know so far.
The exisiting Foodland will be knocked down and in its place, a two storey mixed use building, comprising three ground level retail shops will be constructed.
With a total floor area of 1,917m² and associated ground and first floor car parking, landscaping and acoustic fencing, we can expect something exciting is coming.
It is anticipated that development within the Urban Corridor Zone will achieve a high standard of architectural design through careful articulation and fenestration to all visible sides. It is said that the design of building facades will contribute positively to the street by articulating strong visual elements.
