Union Hotel’s ANZAC Sunday fundraiser is back with beer tents, BBQ & music

The Legacy Foundation and Union Hotel partner to commemorate the ANZAC spirit with one of the country’s oldest ANZAC Day street events on Waymouth Street on Sunday 25th April.

The tradition of mateship is alive and well, as the Legacy Foundation and Union Hotel partner to commemorate the ANZAC spirit with one of the country’s oldest ANZAC Day street events on Waymouth Street on Sunday 25th April 2021.

This landmark event has grown from strength to strength over the years as it creates a place to come together and honour the history of our veterans.

No matter who you are, this is a day to remember and celebrate the tradition of mateship and camaraderie, qualities that underpin what it means to be Australian.

The street will come alive with boutique beer and wine tents, food stalls and the annual Legacy Foundation fundraising BBQ – all whilst enjoying live music throughout the day.

This year’s entertainment line up features favourites; Cornsey’s Allstars (with Graham Cornes), the Salt & Pepper Swing Band, and SA Pipes & Drums to get into the spirit of the day.

Whether its veterans and service men and women stopping in for a drink before or after the parade, or friends celebrating their service, the Union Hotel is the only place to be this ANZAC Day. It’s free to attend and starts at 10am.

When: Anzac Day Sunday, 25 April 2021 from 10am – 10pm.
Where: 70 Waymouth Street.
