Renowned Japanese global apparel retailer UNIQLO, has just opened of its third store in South Australia!
The new store is part of the revitalised Burnside Village project.
This latest addition to the UNIQLO chain opened its doors on Thursday, 29 May, with a comprehensive range of functional apparel for men, women, children, and infants.
The Burnside store encompasses over 777 square metres of retail space, designed for an efficient and enjoyable shopping environment. This new outlet will have a single-storey layout, departing from UNIQLO’s traditional multi-level store setups.
To mark the opening event, UNIQLO held a traditional Japanese ribbon-cutting ceremony accompanied by a taiko drumming performance, celebrating the brand’s rich heritage.
Fuminori Adachi, CEO of UNIQLO in Australia, said, “Thanks to the amazing support from our customers in Adelaide, we are delighted to announce our third store in South Australia and 40th store in Australia, at Burnside Village.”

The new UNIQLO outlet is located at Burnside Village, Shop G141, 447 Portrush Rd, Glenside SA 5065. Customers can expect to find the latest from UNIQLO’s Autumn/Winter collection and upcoming Anya Hindmarch and Princess Tam Tam collections at this location.
The UNIQLO brand operates under Fast Retailing Co., Ltd., one of the world’s largest apparel retail companies, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The company has more than 2,400 stores globally, encompassing a range of other fashion brands such as GU, Theory, and Helmut Lang.
