World-famous UNIQLO is coming to Adelaide

Japanese retailer UNIQLO is coming to the Myer Centre Adelaide in 2022. The superstore is bringing fashion but also over 80 employment opportunities.

Heads up Adelaide. Good things are coming your way.

Following the lead of global retailers Zara and H&M, Japanese clothing giant UNIQLO is coming to the city next year.

Responding to high demand from local customers, UNIQLO will open its much-anticipated first retail store in late 2022 in the Myer Centre Adelaide

UNIQLO Myer Centre Adelaide will offer customers a full line of LifeWear apparel for men, women and kids, alongside seasonal collaborations with designers such as JW Anderson, Christophe Lemaire and Jil Sander and its UT (UNIQLO graphic T-shirt) range.

The new store will be located close to the South Entrance of the Myer Centre Adelaide and will span approximately 1,000 sqm of sales floor.

Further to bringing UNIQLO closer to people in South Australia, the new store will also contribute to the local economy, initially generating approximately 80 employment opportunities for the local retail industry.

UNIQLO is very much guided by its brand philosophy of LifeWear which comes from the Japanese values of simplicity, quality and longevity, where the brand aims to constantly innovate in order to bring more comfortable and better designed clothing for everyone – soon to be physically available to South Australians.

UNIQLO LifeWear is simple, high-quality, everyday clothing with a practical sense of beauty. It is ingenious in detail, well-thought-through with all life’s needs in mind, and always evolving.

UNIQLO’s newest store in Adelaide will be the retailers first in a new market since the opening of Perth Murray Street in 2018.

UNIQLO Myer Centre Adelaide will mark the retailer’s 26th store in Australia, and the fifth state in addition to Victoria, New South Wales, Western Australia, and Queensland.
