UniSA Open Day – Sunday, 15th August

festivalThinking of going to University but not sure what to study, where to go, who to ask?

Never fear, we’ve all been there.

This weekend is the start of the next step, with UniSA and Adelaide University both hosting their open days.  Open Day isn’t just about learning more in preparation for applying to university, there are lots of great things to do while you’re doing your research and trying to get answers for those lingering academic questions.

With a nice fresh coffee in hand from the cafes on campus you can check out the local bands playing on the main stage. After that you can check out the latest exhibitions at the SAMSTAG Museum of Art, test your skills on Wii Fit or try out the flight simulator. (Please note:  Come exam time, you will realise that University is not always this much fun.  Take advantage while you can!)

Jump online and check out the lectures available through the day, create your own itinerary and then get a taste for what each course will offer.  There are a few repeat lectures, so if you get caught up on the Wii or in the flight simulator, you might be able to catch it the second time around!

Jump online to http://www.unisa.edu.au/openday/ and have a look around – there’s a schedule of events (can’t wait to see Astrologist Anne-Elisabeth!), a timetable of lectures that allows you to create your own itinerary and access to CareerShop – a service that means choosing your career doesn’t have to be difficult.  You can learn more about careers and their related programs of study and get the inside scoop from people who have the same career aspirations as you do!

The UniSA Open Day will be held at the City West campus (just under the Morphett Street bridge, near the Skate Park), 9am – 4pm.

For all enquiries, check out the UniSA Open Day website.
