Twenty local celebrity “champions” will be locked up in the historic Old Adelaide Gaol on November 11, in a powerful and spectacular event to raise awareness and vital funds for South Australian children and families who face the harsh realities of poverty and hardship.

Charity organisation, Treasure Boxes, is collaborating with Adelaide’s premier event curator, Out in the Paddock, to host the Gala event, which will see TV personality Jane Beasley, Gemma Burton, Sean Craig Murphy, Deni Varnhagen and styling gurus, Alisa and Lysandra, among celebs to be locked in gaol cells – symbolising the struggles faced by disadvantaged South Aussie kids and raising much-needed funds.

Culminating in a lavish VIP gala under the stars on the Gaol’s picturesque lawns, guests will be treated to incredible entertainment, including electrifying live music performances by Sound Factory, and a special appearance by the one and only Humphrey B Bear.

Treasure Boxes CEO and Founder, Rikki Cooke, said the event will create a powerful impact and give a voice to those who need it most. She expressed concern for the increasing struggles faced by families due to rising costs of living.

“Many South Australian children are going without basic necessities, leaving their families overwhelmed and trapped in a cycle of poverty. ‘Locked-In’ aims to shed light on the extent of disadvantage in our communities and offers a collaborative opportunity to transform lives and provide a glimmer of hope for these families,” she said.

Treasure Boxes Inc is a South Australian based not-for-profit children’s charity, providing essential goods to the most disadvantaged and at-risk babies and kids wishing the community.

Each year, the charity provides quality pre-loved and new children’s goods to more than 2,500 babies and children and over 1300 South Australian families.

The interactive Locked-In event will feature some spectacular highlights from Out In the Paddock, with culinary delights, premium wine and an exclusive Gin Bar, as well as live entertainment and some heartfelt speeches from speakers sharing frontline stories, sure to leave guests inspired.

Tickets for the event are limited, you can register your interest for pre-sale tickets before June 30 and and help pave the way for a brighter future for South Australian children and their families.
