South Australia continues to experience rough winter weather conditions, leading to the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) to issue a road weather warning at 4:40am today. Flooding has resulted in the closure of several roads.

This morning a road weather alert was announced for Adelaide. The heavy fog today will make road conditions possibly dangerous due to the reduced visibility. SA Police are advising that drivers slow down and take extra care, maintain safe distances from other vehicles and use headlights.

Beyond Adelaide, a final flood warning has been issued for Cooper Creek at Cullyamurra Waterhole which has been flooding over the past few days, but it is now reported that river levels are falling. The related flooding at Innamincka is no longer occurring, and as no significant rainfall is forecast in the coming days, this will be the final day the flood warning will be active in the region.

People living or working along rivers and streams in the region should monitor the latest weather forecasts and warnings. For the latest SA Warnings refer to www.bom.gov.au/sa/warnings
