Adelaide’s Italian Festival, Carnevale, is back again in 2015 and bigger than ever with the much-anticipated fashion parades back in the line up.
Over the two day festival, parades will be featuring both children’s ranges and more sophisticated collections for the adults.
Soda & Pop Kids 2015 Winter fashion will be paraded by the high-spirited youngsters from Mostly Kids twice a day for those looking for style inspiration for their little ones.
For the grown ups, collections will be showcased by:
- Iliana the label – luxury items aimed at women who are looking for style, quality and intense design;
- Siedana – designed for the woman who loves style, comfort and a creative look;
- Instant Language boutique from The Parade, Norwood, who offer an eclectic range of fashion and accessories, stocking a large range of quality brands plus higher end brands such as Teatum Jones with womenswear from London, timeless and sophisticated gowns from Nicole Bakti, Diana Rosh Fur Couture, Lauren Vidal Paris and French Elegance from Paule Ka;
- Corina Van Elsen – kaftans to die for in very unique styles, making every woman beautiful.
Carnevale is also thrilled to be welcoming designer Jaimie Sortino, one of the new breed of visionaries rediscovering the ‘allure of couture’. With an eye for romantic fairy tale confections with a modern twist, Sortino builds effortless drama into every design. Every piece is handcrafted here in Australia using the best fabrics sourced from France and Italy. Sortino’s romantic vision is tempered with a vibrant, modern look and his love for textiles, using hand cut embellishments, hand cut lace detailing and textile methods to treat fabrics feature heavily in his designs. Jaimie’s collection will feature in the Sunday evening parade at 6:45pm.
