That’s right, Hessom Casting has just put out an urgent casting call for country women from the ages of 18-28 or 60-75. They are also interested in mother and daughter duos to add to the authenticity of the commercial.
The unknown ad wants to emphasise the importance of rural or country women rather than focusing on city slickers.
Hessom is looking for confident, healthy, happy, individualistic, women that maybe work on the land, or work in a country town somewhere in SA.
“There’s something about a country woman, her face, her smile, her understated sense of self that says where she’s from and city slickers just can’t copy it,” Hessom said.
Not only is there a huge payday, but it’s only for 1-2 days of work on set!
The brief is as follows:
- ‘Country Women’
- 3 x head and shoulders photo (no sunnies or hat) and smiling shots so they can see your lovely character
- A long shot
- Your age
- Your height
- Your contact phone number
- What town you live in (or near)
- A short description of yourself; what occupies you most of the time, whether you are on the land or in a country town, if on the land what sorts of things you do, or what you love to do for leisure or a hobby. J
