Urgent high risk alert issued for Woodville Pizza Bar

People who have visited the Woodville Pizza Bar in the past two weeks must immediately self-quarantine and get tested as soon as possible.

At midnight last night, SA Health issued a COVID-19 Health Alert for the Woodville Pizza Bar. A person connected to the business has tested positive, making it a high risk location.

Anyone who visited or got takeaway (including delivery) from the Woodville Pizza Bar, 58 Woodville Road, Woodville on 6 – 16 November must immediately self-quarantine for 14 days. This includes people who live with you.

SA Health have stressed that even if you just visited for a few minutes to collect take-away or received a home delivery from this location during this period, you need to self-quarantine immediately.

People who visited across this period should seek testing as soon as possible. They must go directly to the testing location, wear a mask and alert the staff that they have visited the pizza bar. This is a high risk location due to a link with positive cases.

The pizza bar joins The Aquadome in Elizabeth as a high risk location, with anyone who was at The Aquadome between 11:00am and 1:30pm on Saturday 14 November now required to self-quarantine for 14 days and get tested immediately if symptoms appear.

SA Health has also advised Flinders University that a person who yesterday tested positive to COVID-19 attended the IELI Intensive English Language Institute on Sturt Campus in recent days. At this stage no Flinders staff or student has been identified as having close contact and there are no confirmed cases amongst Flinders University staff or students. There is no indication the person visited any Flinders University sites beyond the Sturt Campus, which they’ve taken the precaution of closing for deep cleaning. Effective immediately, all buildings on the Sturt Campus are closed which includes IELI itself as well as Health2Go, FISC, Sturt Library and the Sturt Cafe. Flinders Uni are working closely with SA Health and IELI to keep everyone informed as further information emerges. Read more here: https://bit.ly/36E2VH0
