The Taphouse opened in the tail end of last year and since then, has welcomed thousands of beer lovers from around the country with exclusives and events.
They’ve got some new things brewing though, with the Sunset Ale released solely through the Taphouse.

To celebrate summer and the start of 2023, Vale Taphouse has released its first Super Session beer, the Sunset Ale. Sitting at just 1.75% ABV, it’s the perfect beverage for enjoying on those long summer days and well into the night.
Don’t let the low ABV fool you – Vale’s Super Session Sunset Ale is bursting with Mosaic flavour with a Munich and Gladfield Aurora malt base, giving it a richness and complexity you don’t usually associate with a session ale.
Since its launch in 2022, the Vale Taphouse has hosted a number of beer exclusives, including a Red Lager, as well as its award-winning core range including the Tropic Ale which was named the World’s Best Pale Ale.
Since the 2017 acquisition of Vale Brewing, Bickford’s Group has delivered on its promise to grow the brand significantly while still maintaining its South Australian heritage.
The opening of the Vale Taphouse was the culmination of years of investment from the Bickford’s Group, helping the dormant beer brand increase its market share and continuing the South Australian legacy of top quality beverages, brewed locally.
Bickford’s Group has delivered a number of major tourism projects focused around its award-winning beverages over the last six years, including the acclaimed 23rd Street Distillery in Renmark and Beresford Estate in McLaren Vale.
