Vegan food trail coming to Adelaide this week

Adelaide has always been a forerunner in the food scene, and now it’s capturing its growing vegan market with a fantastic range of options in a curated food trail.

Vegans, it’s time to follow the “green” brick road to various vegan venues across the city.

Adelaide has always been a forerunner in the food scene, and now it’s capturing its growing vegan market with a fantastic range of options in a curated food trail.

The Green Brick Road has more than 20 vegan venues taking part in a walking trail of incredible plant-based restaurants and dishes. Part of the 2021 Adelaide Food Fringe, the event lasts until May 16 and revolves around a map and charts showing when the different eateries are open so walkers can plan their eating extravaganza for whenever suits them.

Participating venues include Veggi Vie, the Hispanic Mechanic, Lord of the Fries, and many more.

With $5 specials at many venues, you can graze all weekend and eat your favourite dishes, or learn what all the fuss about plant-based food is if you’re new to it!

Participants who have eaten in, picked up takeaway or had food delivered are encouraged to take a ‘Food Pic’, post on social media and check in to the venue and use the hashtag #vaff.

The Green Brick Road is part of Vegan Festival Adelaide, which is also hosting the Vegan Film Festival May 28-29.
