Vegan Junk Food Favourite Opens Second Bakery

Whether you’re vegan, dairy-free or you just want to try something different, there’s sure to be something on the menu to impress.

We love a good vegan haunt here at Glam Adelaide, so famed vegan bakery, Cherry Darlings Bakehouse, is one of our faves.

They’ve been supplying our vegan junk food fix for years and have won over even the most devout meat eaters with innovative treats like their vegan cheeseburger pies.

And just when you thought they couldn’t get any better — they’ve gone and opened another venue! Spreading the vegan love across the city, Cherry Darlings have headed north-west, deciding to open a second venture in thriving Port Adelaide.

When the opportunity arose for a spot as a permanent pop-up in the uber-cool gallery and event space, Cult and Harper, Cherry Darlings knew they had to take it.

If you haven’t been able to get to Forestville yet, then the Port Adelaide location might just tempt you (that, or their amazing, 100% plant-based food)!

They will have their full beloved menu on offer so you can order all of your favourites, including the ever popular vanilla slice. Or there are pies to die for, from the Philly cheesesteak pie or lentil pot pie to the peri peri chicken pie.

And did we mention the peanut butter choc-caramel cannoli they’ve just released?

The cruelty-free bakery also uses sustainable sugarcane packaging and vegetable cellulose straws, just in case you needed another reason to give them a try.

Whether you’re vegan, dairy-free or you just want to try something different, there’s sure to be something on their creative menu to impress. The new Port Adelaide store is open now so head on down for all the tasty vegan baked goods you can imagine.

Find Cherry Darlings at Cult and Harper is located on Level 2, 168 St Vincent Street, Port Adelaide. They open Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30am to 4pm.
