Beaumont House is opening its grounds for a spooky Halloween trail for those who dare

SA’s beloved historic Beaumont House is opening its gates to the public for a spooky Halloween tour for those who dare to enter.

SA’s most beloved historic home, the Beaumont House, is opening its gates to the public for a spooky tour on the scariest night of the year – Halloween. Psych yourself up for a wander through the infamous gardens and stunning manor of Beaumont House for an evening of horrors and frights.

If you’re brave enough to enter the grounds and walk among the damned, spend Halloween learning the intricate details of the inner workings of the heritage-listed building where past residents may return to haunt.

Spooky drinks and a sausage sizzle will be on offer to carry on the tradition seen in years past.

Protected under the National Trust of South Australia, Beaumont House is a heritage site, and rightfully so, with a history dating back as far as 1849 with its gorgeously sun-beamed brick surrounded by perfectly manicured flora, the building is a vision in its own right.

Its open days are rare throughout the year only being held on the first Sunday every month but now they are allowing an extra chance to take the tour of the house with a haunted twist.

Among its 29 acres of gardens there will be witches lurking in the trees, graveyards between the rose bushes and undead pirate ships and skeletons peering right back at you. Hosting numerous weddings throughout the year it’s now transforming its homestead into a ghostly tour around Beaumont House full of scares at every turn.

When: October 31 at 4:30 till 7PM and no bookings necessary.
Where: Beaumont House is located on 632 Glynburn Road, Beaumont
