Ever feel the need to break up a day of wine drinking with a sneaky pint or three? Well, for the first time this weekend, the 18th Annual Bank SA Sea and Vines Festival will feature the McLaren Vale Beer Company Ale as part of the Salopian Inn’s addition to the event.
Join the guys from MVBeer in the marquee overlooking the vines adjacent the Salopian Inn between 11am- 5pm each day this weekend. They’ll be serving up a seafood extravaganza, with a casual menu of squid, mulloway, whitebait, prawns and cockles to compliment the Vale Ale perfectly. DJ Tyson Tightpants will be spinning some funky disco grooves and Hills Cider will also be on tap.
If you fancy a more gourmet experience, inside the Inn will be offering a 6 course degustation long lunch with Gemtree Wines coming onboard to round off the experience with their biodynamically produced McLaren Vale wines. The menu will include K.I. crayfish tail, berkshire suckling pig and Gemtree lamb, paired with the Vale Ale along with 5 different Gemtree Wines , at a cost of $150.
