Get those home brews started and your time off in now, because the date of this year’s Robe Beer Festival has been announced.

Organisers behind the annual attraction have said that Saturday, October 28th is when it all goes down.

The Robe Beer Festival has become a mainstay of the Limestone Coast events calendar and has been bringing together a range of people from around the state.

Every year on the last Saturday of October, the Robe foreshore comes alive with a celebration of brewers and producers from up and down the Limestone Coast as well across South Australia and regional Victoria.

It is a wonderful opportunity to get up close and personal with the faces and hands behind some of the state’s local breweries. Sip and sample a range of different brews and support local makers as they put on a show for South Australia.

One of the highlights of the festival is the Robetown Brewery Home Brew Comp and organisers have announced that yes, this will also be back on. They have also teased that this year’s festival will take place in an extended format.

While no details on what this extended format will look like yet, judging from previous years, it is sure to go down a treat.

For those wanting to head down, it is not just about the beer. Live music and entertainment will be happening all day and of course, nothing goes better with beer then some incredible food.

Overlooking the beautiful Guichen Bay, this seaside festival is worth the few hours trek down from Adelaide.
