VietFest is coming to Adelaide showcasing the beauty of Vietnamese culture.
Taking place on Saturday January 29, VietFest is one of Adelaide’s largest and most well-perceived Vietnamese cultural events amongst the Vietnamese community in Adelaide.
It will be held at Pfitzner Court (University of Adelaide North Terrace Campus), bringing a hub of arts, history, songs, dances and food for one-day-only.
Guests are free to explore a range of activities, including unique exhibitions of Vietnamese artisan goods and historical costumes.
There will also be creative craft workshops, folk games, traditional and contemporary music/dance performances and Ao Dai fashion show to explore.
To fuel eventgoers on the gorgeous day, there will be authentic Vietnamese cuisine on offer to taste the flavours of Vietnam.
VietFest has had a long-standing success after its 2014, 2017 and 2019 events each year attracting more than 1000 local visitors.
The event began with a longing of Vietnamese international students for their homeland Vietnam.
They had a strong desire to bring their traditions to Adelaide and the local Vietnamese community. Since it began in 2014, Vietfest has aimed to narrow the gap between Vietnamese and the local community.
In past events, the festival has celebrated Vietnamese culture through cultural activities and performances bringing all the beauty of the country those in South Australia to soak in.
While travelling to Vietnam is not as easy as it once was, VietFest is bringing Vietnam is coming Adelaide.

VietFest welcomes walk-in guests of all ages to attend.
Entrance, exhibitions, music/dance performances, and Ao Dai Fashion Show are free for all. Meanwhile, workshops, game tickets and souvenirs will be have a charge from $3.
VietFest will take place at Pfitzner Court (University of Adelaide North Terrace Campus) on Saturday January 29 from 10am to 6pm.
