In a fresh addition to its international service offerings, Vietjet has officially launched a new airline route connecting Sydney, Australia with Hanoi, Vietnam. This initiative follows closely on the heels of the recently introduced Hanoi-Melbourne service which commenced on June 3, 2024.
While Vietjet also flies out of Adelaide, after launching here in late 2023, the route goes to Ho Chi Minh City with a stop in Perth.
Operating out of the bustling capital of Vietnam, the Sydney-Hanoi route represents Vietjet’s 7th connection to Australia. The service involves two return flights weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays. These flights will be carried out using Vietjet’s advanced A330 wide-body aircraft. The new connection is designed to simplify and enhance the ability to travel or conduct business between the two destinations. It also provides convenient links for students studying abroad and families looking to connect with relatives. This route also offers extended connectivity through Vietjet’s comprehensive flight network to various global destinations.
Hanoi offers visitors a historical ambience amplified by its ancient streets, stunning natural scenery, diverse cuisine, and warm hospitality.
To mark the launch, Vietjet has announced a promotional discount on Business Class fares, offering up to 50% off for bookings made using the promo code ‘SBJUNE50.’ This offer is valid until June 14. Business Class passengers will enjoy numerous privileges such as priority check-in, access to exclusive lounges, up to 60kg of baggage allowance plus an inclusion of a golf set, gourmet in-flight meals, private cabin space, and 180-degree flatbed seats.
Additionally, all Vietjet flights come with complimentary SkyCare travel insurance. This insurance covers a variety of potential travel inconveniences including medical expenses from accidents and illnesses, flight delays, and baggage complications. Over the summer period, Vietjet is enhancing passenger engagement by offering opportunities to earn points through the Vietjet SkyJoy loyalty program.
