Vietnamese Eatery Mettā Sol Has Launched DIY Pho Kits

Plant-Based Vietnamese eatery, Mettā Sol, has started an initiative with StreetSmart to help fight Adelaide homelessness through Pho.

The marvellous minds at the Goodwood plant-based Vietnamese eatery, Mettā Sol, have started an initiative with StreetSmart to help fight homelessness through Pho.

For one day only, on Sunday 26 July, Mettā Sol is hosting a Super Sol Sunday event in conjunction with The Good Hub, Goodwood, to help warm the hearts of those in need.

The team are offering take-home DIY Pho Kits for two that can be pre-ordered before 24 July, with 70% of the money raised being donated to StreetSmart.

StreetSmart is an organisation that raises funds and awareness for action against people experiencing homelessness and those who are at risk.

Since starting in 2003, the Australia wide organisation has distributed over 6 millions dollars of funds to local charities supporting homelessness.

Super Sol Sunday is an event created by Mettā Sol as an initiative to give back to various charities and people in the community.

To date, Mettā Sol has raised funds for Don Dunstan Foundation for Homelessness, Trees for Life, WWF Australia, CFS and the SA Bushfire Appeal.

At every event, there are live music performances, activities and guest speakers there to share knowledge on the particular charity.

For this Super Sol Sunday, the fabulous Ultimate Pho Kit for 2 is available to pre-order from the Mettā Sol website. Included in the pack you will find:

  • 1L of Pho Broth
  • Rice Noodles
  • Mushrooms
  • Organic Tofu
  • 250mL of Hoisin Sauce
  • Doughnut Sticks
  • Mooncakes

You can add a bottle of Domaine de la Prade Organic Merlot or Shiraz non-alcoholic wine to your pack for an additional $24.

The packs also contain a range of The Good Hub vouchers and services including massages, reiki, readings, acupuncture and sauna healings to help you become more nourished and balanced this winter.

The Good Hub is one of Adelaide’s premier co-working communities that is dedicated to guidance, nourishment and wellbeing.

It brings together likeminded individuals in the community who strive to help visitors find healing and rejuvenation.

This great initiative will warm your stomach through delicious Pho and help pay-it-forward to those fighting homelessness here in Adelaide.

Donations start at $100 and 70% of them will go directly to StreetSmart.

The Mettā Sol Ultimate Pho Kits are available for pre-order until Friday 24 July for pick-up on Sunday 26 July, the day of the event.
