Leading online wine retailer Vinomofo has just announced it has acquired Melbourne-based events company Revel, just in time for summer and the resurgence of events.
The purchase will involve all of Revel’s staff joining Vinomofo to work together to work up a slate of new events for 2022.
Vinomofo CEO, Paul Edginton, says both Vinomofo and Revel are forward thinking, innovative businesses, and as Australians are eager to get out an attend events as restrictions ease, this acquisition could not have come at a better time.
“As our customer base grows year on year, we are seeing demand for a more extensive offering, with tactile, engaging, fun experiences at the top of the must-have list,” Edginton said.
Vinomofo co-founder Justin Dry knows the importance of innovation in business and says you can expect to see Vinomofo and Revel adapt and evolve.

Revel founder, Dan Sims, said the acquisition was a coming together of two great entrepreneurial minds in the Australian wine industry.
