Vintage Chef Co brings its home-cooked hearty meals to Gawler, officially opening a family-friendly café in STARplex Gawler from July 18.
It’s the newest project for the multilayer Barossa Valley hospitality business who already has the Vintage Chef Cafè, nestled in the beautiful grounds of Chateau Yaldara in Lyndoch. But, with foot traffic exceeding 10,000 people per week, the new location will be sure to be a family favourite for anyone visiting the sporting complex.
To celebrate the launch, on July 18, Vintage Chef Co will have a number of activations and festivities at the new café including free meals for the first 50 customers, competitions and giveaways, face painting and more.
The talented foodie behind Vintage Chef Co’s success, Teagan Carpenter, said the new venue will be a great place for people to be able to catch up over good food, with all dietary requirements catered for.
“We will be offering a range of healthy, delicious ready-to-go food, plus a signature menu, from 10 ’til three daily, and of course a more Street Food menu available for the after school kids,” she said.
There will be fresh juices, protein shakes, hot doughnuts and ready-to-go salads sandwiches and wraps, and Teagan also plans to use Uber eats as well as having as much nutritious food ready for families to take home after sports.
“It will benefit the community massively, having such a variety of food that will be home-cooked and much better for you than any take-away or drive-through option.”
A mother of three herself, Teagan’s goal is to create a wellness food hub, growing her hugely successful company while helping people all over South Australia, buy back their time.
“Food has always inspired me, I remember growing up cooking with my Nanny. She loved dinner parties and I loved helping her set the table, plan the menu out of cook books and magazines and collect all the fresh ingredients. It’s a core memory that I will treasure forever.”
