Sidewood Estate is bringing back its vibrant annual event, Vintage & Vinyl, to celebrate the 2025 vintage with top-notch wine, great food, and a live DJ. On Saturday, April 5th, the Sidewood team is inviting guests to celebrate the year’s vintage with a lively afternoon packed with festivities in its beautiful Hahndorf dwelling.
The party will kick off at 11am and go right through ’til 5pm. The day will be full of adults-only food and wine delights. Plus, there are a whole lot of activities on offer designed for friendly competition between guests.
Enjoy a complimentary glass of Sidewood wine on arrival, poured into a glass that you’ll get to take home at the end of the day. Then cruise through the afternoon trying all the new drops from the award-winning winery, including cider, Uraidla Brewery beers, and gin tastings from Route 9 Distillery – delightful!
The Sidewood Estate chefs will be busy preparing a delectable menu full of wood-fired pizzas, Korean fried chicken, and plenty of other bites for you to enjoy throughout the day.
DJ Sam Lavers will be spinning vinyl all day, dropping classic cuts and fresh beats to keep the energy high and the vibes just right.
A highlight each year is the annual grape stomping competition, step into the winemaker’s shoes – or rather, go barefoot – and experience the age-old tradition of grape stomping! Now’s your chance to jump in feet first with the winemaking process.
Not a fan of getting your feet dirty? No problem! Gather your friends for a Sabrage Session, where you’ll master the art of opening a bottle of sparkling with a sabre – a tradition fit for royalty!
Sidewood’s beautiful surrounds make the day of festivities an absolute must-go, with beautiful shady gum trees, grass between your toes and relaxed picnic tables all around.
Worried about getting to the hills? Don’t stress, because Sidewood’s got you covered. Return bus passes from The Highway Hotel on Anzac Highway are on offer for $15 (+booking fee) extra a head. You’ll even get a complimentary drink at The Highway before you head to the Hills.
