As the days warm up, Virgin Australia is giving travellers another reason to book their next getaway, dropping its weekly Happy Hour Sale today with return international fares starting at just $419.
For seven hours only – from 10:30am to 10:30pm on Thursday 18 September – Aussies can lock in a summer escape, with discounted seats across popular short-haul destinations including Fiji, Bali, Samoa and Vanuatu. Those chasing alpine adventures can also take advantage of sale fares to Queenstown, with travel available between 22 October 2025 and 31 March 2026 (unless sold out earlier). While there are no direct flights from Adelaide (boo), there are plenty of connecting flights available.
Whether it’s cocktails by the beach, chasing waterfalls or hitting the slopes, the sale is designed to help travellers swap jumpers for swimmers – or skis – without stretching the budget.
Velocity Frequent Flyer members can also collect Points and Status Credits on eligible sale bookings.
Seats are limited and are expected to move fast, so holidaymakers will need to be quick to secure the best deals.
