Want To Be An Extra In Mortal Kombat? Here’s How

Tentative application processes have been implemented for those who want the chance to feature in the upcoming film as an extra.

The biggest film production that South Australia has ever seen was announced recently. Mortal Kombat a New Line Cinema production by debut director, Simon McQuoid, will be filming in the Adelaide Studio’s Sound Stages in the near future.

Post-production will also take place in South Australia’s internationally acclaimed visual effects and post-production facilities.

It is expected for the blockbuster to require a large number of extras and while a callout for extras has not been made at this time, there are a tentative application processes which have been implemented. These are accepted with the intention of passing details to the appointed casting agents.

The Mortal Kombat production have set up an email address that you can send an expression of interest to be an extra. Expression sent to [email protected] will be forwarded to those appointed as casting agents for Mortal Kombat.

In a Facebook post, AAA Talent Agency have also stated that they work with casting agents for a variety of South Australian productions and are encouraging applications regardless of age, gender and ethnicity, for potential upcoming SA productions.

They are only taking applications strictly via email, at [email protected] In your application you must include your age, gender, ethnicity and a photograph. The email is to be titled as ‘EXTRAS’.
