Wanted: Someone To Eat For Free At Mr Potato And Lose Weight (Dream Job Right?)

What’s this you say? Eating delicious potato meals for a month, AND losing weight?

Is this some wonderful dream? The fine folks over at Mr Potato have announced that they are looking for a potato-loving ambassador who is wanting to start a month-long, sponsored weight loss journey.

What’s this you say? Eating delicious potato meals for a month, AND losing weight? Witchcraft? Sorcery? Or are they on to something that we’ve lost sight of in a carb-hating world. Either way, it sounds amazing, and THEY WANT YOU!

In a nutshell, Mr Potato is looking for people to nominate themselves to go on to a potato-led diet for a month, where you’ll be given two Mr Potato meals a day along with a membership to Anytime Fitness Glenelg, and they’ll be tracking your progress over the month. The good folks over at Deliveroo have also gotten behind the initiative and will help deliver the meals to the chosen Ambassador.

Apparently, potatoes are a much better source of carbohydrate then breads or rice, and the fab folks who own Mr Potato are living proof that a potato diet can leave you looking amazing.

Jess Davis – Model & Founder of Australian Supermodel of the Year, along with her partner Tyson Hoffmann – 36er’s development player, are owners of the recently launched Mr Potato, and are on a mission to change the face of fast food in Australia, whilst removing the negative health stigma of the traditional potato. They hope this new campaign will highlight how good potatoes can be for you – and help shed the stigma the humble spud has picked up in recent years.

Both Tyson & Jess have come from health conscious backgrounds. With Tyson being a professional athlete it was important for him to keep a well balanced diet to assist in training and performing at his peak. As for Jess, since entering the model industry at 14 years old, she was always eager to educate herself on the foods she was eating. She was needing to fuel her body correctly, not only to look good, but to keep up with a hectic travel schedule, plus working & training around the clock.

Both Jess & Tyson felt there was a lack of choices when it came to healthy affordable takeaway, both living such crazy lifestyles, they wanted to create something that was quick, simple & filled their nutritional needs.
