This winter, Mr Chu is turning up the heat on their all-time bestseller, the Laksa, introducing the “Ultimate Seafood Laksa Noodle Soup”. The dish is set to be deliciously warming and comforting, packed with premium seafood including king prawns, scallops, squid, market fish and mussels.
The slightly creamy, yet sweet and spicy soup will have you slurping with delight all winter long, available at both Mr Chu’s Burnside and Norwood locations. It comes in limited serves each day, so don’t miss out!
“We’re thrilled to introduce our new laksa this winter, blending traditional South-East Asian flavours with a touch of innovation to warm our customers’ hearts and souls,” Owner Daniel Chu said.
If you want to enjoy your seafood laksa outside without sacrificing warmth, Mr Chu has you covered. The venue recently installed a brand-new heated undercover seating area at their Burnside location, allowing diners to enjoy the outside atmosphere of the courtyard, even as the temperatures drop.
That’s not all, Mr Chu has truly thought of all things indulgence and comfort for this winter. With World Chocolate Day falling on July 7th, Mr Chu’s Burnside store (only) will offer two irresistible chocolate treats to celebrate the occasion from July 6th to 7th.
Customers will have the choice between either their triple choc thick shake, topped with oreo crumbs and a chocolate cookie stick, or their hazelnut chocolate brownie, served with dark chocolate ice cream, mascarpone, chocolate sauce, and chocolate fairy floss.
Mr Chu’s Café & Eatery, known for its delicious western cuisine with a South-East Asian twist, only recently opened its Burnside Village location. While their Norwood venue caters to both day and night dining, the Burnside establishment focuses exclusively on breakfast and lunch.
