Wattle St Market’s Pop-up Garden Is Going To Be Huge This Weekend

Wattle Street MarketThis Saturday will see an eclectic mix of 20-plus stallholders gather in the garden for the second Wattle St Market in the 2014/15 season.

The boutique pop-up garden market attracted record numbers of market-goers at its September market and is expecting the front garden and drive of the Wattle St, Fullarton residence to be bustling once again.

Wattle Street Market co-organiser Bec Rodenburg, who is also behind Miss Vintage, says there’s something about the market that people just love.

Wattle Street Market“We have great tunes on the go, the sun is shining (most of the time) and it’s just a really nice and unique atmosphere to catch up with friends and support local designers while you’re at it!”

With a focus on designer handmade, the market will feature up-cycled kids clothes, soaps and fragrances, handmade designer dresses, cushions, vintage candles, luxury towels and linen and homewares.

Among the stallholders for Saturday’s market are Shanghai Lil & the Scarlett Fez, Potted Thoughts, Frock Me Out, Miss Vintage, Coloured Pears, Luna & Luxe Vintage Soy Candles, Vintage Fox, Collecte, Sukie, Lexi Loo & Moo, Once Upon a Tree and Mintcloud to name a few.

Wattle Street MarketIn addition, Coffee Cow, Food Man Chew, Sal’s Masterstock, Poppies of the Glen and Rebecca’s Cakes will keep the hunger at bay. Gold coin donation entry would be appreciated, to benefit the work of the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation.
