In the heart of Adelaide’s CBD sits Georges on Waymouth, a long-loved favourite of locals and interstate guests alike. With the undeniable passion of owner George Kasimatis present in every aspect of the restaurant, it is easy to see why Georges on Waymouth has maintained a mutual love-affair with the Adelaide city over the past fifteen years. An incredible feat, but if you know this place well, completely understandable.

Remaining fresh, local and seasonal, Georges on Waymouth continues to thrive and deliver a stunning menu. Put together by Head Chef Jon Kimber, the menu changes seasonally, focusing on passionately sourced local produce. Attention to detail has always been important to Georges, with all of their breads, pastas and desserts made on premise daily.

Their distinctly European inspired menu takes advantage of luxurious seasonal fare; and their summer Al La Carte menu is the perfect example. Think lamb press with pancetta, Kangaroo Island sheep’s milk yoghurt, mint and pomegranate; or beautiful pillows of ricotta gnocchi with local Goolwa pipis, mussels, greens and garlic. And for dessert, lychee & lime sorbet, sago, coconut yoghurt and cherry. The flavour combinations are truly exquisite and artfully mastered.

Along with their stunning options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Georges has a private dining room perfect for any and all events. Whether you’re looking to host a function during the day, or during the night, the possibilities for exuding luxury at your desired events are endless. Seating thirty-eight guests and hosting around sixty for cocktail events, there are many opportunities to entertain in the gorgeous surrounds of Georges. And even better still. the menu can be tailored to your event.

Oh and as for the wines. Georges on Waymouth has an extensive wine list with local vineyards and European varietals making appearances. Accompanying a local selection of South Australian wines, Georges on Waymouth has Greek wine, exclusive to South Australia, available. Vassaltis Vineyards is the latest addition to Santorini, a modern, state-of-the-art, boutique winery by Yannis Valambous, and it is pouring at Georges on Waymouth. So if you’re looking to be transported to a stunning evening on a Greek Island as you sip your wine, then look no further than Georges.

This award winning restaurant has a stunning mix of gorgeous flavours, local and European influences, and sensational service. So if you’re ever looking for a spot to head for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or simply an espresso, look no further than Georges on Waymouth. It does not disappoint.
