There is a new and creative advertising agency on the block and Joshua Welbourn and Troy O’Brien are set to take Adelaide by storm, having already picked up several heavy weight clients!
If you haven’t heard about them yet, they are Adelaide’s biggest and most connected small agency Welbourn O’Brien (WO) and they are fast firming as a favourite in a highly competitive advertising race.
With their recent announcement of an an exciting new client win, Mercedes-Benz Adelaide, heads are turning towards this exciting agency!
After a competitive pitch process throughout May, Welbourn O’Brien (WO) is pleased to add Mercedes-Benz Adelaide to their client list.

With a new client like Mercedes comes a new way of thinking. Welbourn O’Brien have realised the importance that video plays in today’s world. So, they have introduced a new way for potential customers to view ‘Previously Owned Vehicles’ for sale at Mercedes-Benz Adelaide.
In the past, you would have been looking at an image of the car in a lot… not very interactive or interesting. In steps the video! Now a potential Mercedes purchaser can see the cars available in video format and will essentially get a little ‘tour’ of the car before they even leave their home. Convenient and clever.
WO’s branded content team has also produced a series of pre-owned vehicle films for Mercedez-Benz Adelaide, to be distributed through social and digital channels. Conceived, written, directed and edited in house by WO, ten films were made market ready in just three days.
Not only is video content important because of social media, but WO feels that it is important for customers to connect with the videos and for this reason Josh said,”The campaign was filmed locally at well know locations that would resonate with Mercedes-Benz Adelaide customers.” It might be a cafe that they know or a particular area of the city, either way, when a customer feels that sense of nostalgia they are more likely to identify with the product, in this case, the cars.
