West Beach Eatery is gearing up for the warmer weather with the addition of its new courtyard caravan, which will be slinging delicious cocktails every weekend.
West Beach Eatery, located right in front of the BIG4 Holiday Park, has been a family-friendly staple for locals and parkgoers for years, and with the introduction of their new cocktail van, it is sure to be the ultimate place to kick back and relax as the weather warms up.
Owner, Sam Dunning has owned the West Beach Eatery for the past 3 years and is excited about the introduction of the retro cocktail caravan.
“I have 20+ years in the industry, owned and operated multiple venues and we currently have two sites that were operating, we’ve been at West Beach for three years, and we totally love it,” Sam
“We recently opened the caravan, it’s a true novelty. We have a really lovely outdoor area and thought it would be the perfect spot to do something fun. The retro van is fitted out as a cocktail van, it’s perfect for the space.”
Of course, cocktails will be in abundance, with everyone’s favourites and a few unique options on the menu.
“We are going to be changing the menu regularly but will have all your beachside favourites. Daquiris and mojitos, bloody marys and espresso martinis! My favourites would have to be a Long Island iced tea or spicy marg for sure.”
West Beach Eatery is bringing all the resort vibes with its outdoor-indoor dining, and fantastic brunch menu. Breakfast is served from 7:30am until 3pm so is perfect for those staying at the park getting a later start or locals wanting to start their days off right.
Classics like egg benny, avo toast and BLT rolls are all on offer, plus lunch is served from 12pm until 7:30pm, so enjoy burgers, schnitzels and salads, or as you’re by the sea treat yourself to fish and chips. Kids are catered for as well with a stacked all-day breakfast and lunch menu.
“We are located at the front of the park, and accessible to everybody. It’s sort of a hidden spot, locals know about it and guests at the caravan park, but the wider community might not know just yet.
“It’s pretty appealing if you got children, there’s a playground, so you can drink while kids play happily. We also have a gift shop, so why not enjoy a cocktail while shopping? If you’re on the way to or from the beach the caravan will be the perfect place to stop for a drink.”
