West End Christmas Arts Market & Carnivale

The West End Christmas Arts Market & Carnivale will take over Leigh Street on Sunday 16 December, featuring food, music, dancing and a designer market just in time for Christmas shopping.

Live music from The Killgirls, Lucky Seven Swing, Bakers Digest, Monkey Puzzle Tree, Cool4Kids among others, will get people up and dancing and there will be loads of free fun activities for children and their families including free face painting, magicians and roving performers.

Traffic-free Leigh Street is the ideal location to bring together local vendors such as beloved Imprints Books and more than 30 stalls with all sorts of handicrafts, gifts and exotic international foods.

Festivities at the third annual event kick off at midday and run through to 10pm.

So jump on the bus, train or tram – leave the car at home – and head to bustling Leigh Street for festive fun.

The event is organised by the Adelaide West End Association and sponsored by a local groups including Adelaide City Council and the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure and Casablabla.
