Selectors have made five changes to the West End Redbacks squad for today’s Ryobi One Day Cup clash against the Retravision Warriors at the WACA.
Jake Haberfield, Daniel Harris, Nathan Lyon, Graham Manou and James Smith have been included in the 13-man squad, replacing Tom Cooper, Callum Ferguson, Ben Dougall, Tim Lang and Tim Ludeman.
Both Cooper and Ferguson are in the sub-continent, representing the Netherlands and Australia respectively in the ICC Cricket World Cup.
Nathan Lyon has been included in a Redbacks Ryobi squad for the first time after taking six wickets in his first class debut against the Warriors.
The Redbacks will have plenty of bowling firepower, with Ben Edmondson (16 wickets) and Dan Christian (15) sitting first and second for the most wickets in the one day competition.
Christian has also starred with the bat, scoring 375 runs at an average of 53.27 and a strike rate of 125.
