Adelaide’s inner west is buzzing in 2025, and it’s no longer a secret. Three red-hot venues have just announced the return of a festival that has proven extremely popular for the last couple of years. Big Shed Brewing, Bowden Brewing, and Shapeshifter Brewing are all coming together thanks to the City of Charles Sturt for the massive return of West Fest.
Set for 2pm til late on Saturday, 25 October, West Fest is back for its fifth year of beers, bites, and beats, with the three brewing powerhouses joining forces to once again host the ‘West’s biggest Beer Fest’.

With 50+ brews on tap across the three venues, this year’s festival is bigger than it has ever been. From 2pm, free buses will loop between the breweries so you can hop between Bowden, Royal Park, and Findon with ease. Each stop will have its own unique line-up of entertainment, food and special activations, and the crawl is what makes it all worth it.

At Bowden Brewing, expect a Lucky’s Pizza x NOLA collab and a NOLA Cocktail Bar takeover alongside a huge beer selection and live tunes. Big Shed will be serving up its classic crowd favourites with live music, giveaways, and a pop-up flash tattoo studio. Over at Shapeshifter Brewing Co, Burgertec will make an appearance, and a live caricature artist will be capturing your least favourite facial features, as you sample their award-winning brews.
The best part? Entry is completely free, and the festival runs from afternoon to late evening. Sponsored by the City of Charles Sturt, West Fest is pouring the best of Adelaide’s west, its craft beer culture, local produce, and rough and ready live music scene.
