Shoppers will revel in Boxing Day sales this 26 December with special offers a-plenty at Westfield’s online shopping mall, westfield.com.au, from 12.01am – hours before the stores officially open.
“The Boxing Day sales will commence early on westfield.com.au with hundreds of brands on sale from fashion and accessories to homewares, electronics and more,” Savvy shopping expert, Westfield’s Insider, Alyce Cowell said.
“Boxing Day is a great time to nab the big ticket items as well as picking up something special for yourself and your loved ones at heavily reduced prices. Electronics, lingerie and cosmetics are expected to be big selling items,” she said.
“If you were lucky enough to receive a Westfield Gift Card, this year for the very first time you can also shop the Boxing Day sales at Westfield online using your gift card. In fact Westfield Gift Cards will be accepted on westfield.com.au from 25 December – so you can start your sales shopping on Christmas Day!”

• Do your research – Plan ahead for what you want to purchase on the big day. To find it with ease, use the sorting functionality to sort by price, retailer, item or brand, or visit the ‘On Sale’ section. It will speed up your shop, along with making purchase from multiple retailers on the site in the one transaction.
• Fact check – if you’re planning on buying fashion online, use the size guide to avoid disappointment all retailers on westfield.com.au let you return items for free, either via post or in store. Check the sales item return policy on westfield.com.au before you buy.
• Be rewarded – On westfield.com.au for the first time you can use your Virgin Velocity Points to shop the Boxing Day sales. You can also earn double Velocity Points until 31st of December 2011 – so for every $1 spent you will receive 4 points.
