Using ‘F-words’ is always fun, and even more so when it comes in threes! That’s food, fine wine and fresh produce… get your mind out of the gutter.
Westfield Shopping Centres across South Australia will host the Westfield Food and Wine Weekend this weekend, with Sous Chef Benjamin Schulz from Panacea Restaurant, the ambassador chosen to get proceedings under way this week, treating a handful of guests to a personal paella masterclass (one of the best we’ve ever tasted!), accompanied by locally produced wines set in the beautiful garden courtyard settings at the new fresh food court of Westfield Marion.
It’s was a fine preview for what’s to come this Saturday the 8th and Sunday the 9th of October as a range of SA wineries host pop-up cellar doors, in conjunction with a program of centre events including live cooking and tasting master classes, kids entertainment and more! Masterchef alumi, Jessie Spiby, will be making an appearance and hosting a Masterclass, as well as Manager and head cheese maker of Woodside Cheese Wrights, the enigmatic Kris Lloyd.
With all of the excitement, retailers have also decided to partake in the festivities with their own weekend specific product offerings!
