While we may be used to warm Easter afternoons spent outside by the BBQ hosting Easter egg hunts in the backyard, it might be wise to cook up a backup plan this long weekend.
The weather models are not painting the usual sunny skies we are used to at this time of year, except they are locking onto a weekend of fronts with plenty of showers to follow.
At this stage, Adelaidians can expect the city areas to see 20-40mm by Easter Sunday night, with heavier falls in the Hills and 5-30mm across the south-central part of the state in the same timeframe.
For all who are staying in the state for the holidays, there are plenty of indoor activities to indulge in this long weekend.
