Yes, you heard right. Lobethal Bakery are serving up a giant donut. What do we mean by giant? We mean nearly 20cm wide.
For a hand to donut comparison, Lobethal posted this photo on their social media — we hope this convinces you that it is, indeed, a truly big donut.
Not only does Lobethal Bakery serve this tasty treat bright and early from 7:30am every day, but they’re also recently added a few new flavours to the mix.
Initially just in chocolate sprinkles, the donut is now available as a juicy cream and jam delight dusted in icing sugar and also in original glazed.
The bakery also does tasty baked goods and pastries, plus hot soups and pies. You can also get your coffee fix or indulge in a tasty milkshake.
They may say summer bodies are made in winter, but you know what else is made in winter? This ginormous donut. And that’s the winner in our books.
You can find Lobethal Bakery at 80 Main St, Lobethal SA 5241, open from 7:30am to 5:30pm Mon to Fri and 7am to 3pm on Sat.
