We’ve Got The Love! Florence + The Machine Set To Return To Adelaide!

Ok Adelaide, clear out your schedules becauseĀ Florence + The MachineĀ are coming to Adelaide!

Ok Adelaide, clear out your schedules becauseĀ Florence + The MachineĀ are coming to Adelaide! Following their 2012 sell-out show at Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Florence + The Machine are back better than ever with new songs ready to share with us.

Florence + The Machine will return to Australia next January for a string of national headline dates. On her sixth tour of Australia, the vocal powerhouse will take in capital cities across the country, including a fantastic night to remember at Botanic Park in Adelaide on January 16th. Ā

This will be Florence Welch and her bandā€™s first visit to unleash their mesmerising live show on Adelaide audiences since their sold out show at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in 2012.Ā  (Their epic sold out November 2015 tour, which featured four back to back Sydney Opera House Forecourt performances didnā€™t make it to Adelaide).

Released globally earlier this week, Florence + The Machineā€™s latest offering, ā€˜Big Godā€™, is a raw and enchanting affair, and is the third single to be taken from their highly-anticipated fourth album, High As Hope, out next Friday June 29th.Ā Earlier this year, Florence + The Machine performed their brooding second single ā€˜Hungerā€™ on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

High As Hope is as intimate as it is epic, venturing into new sonic territory whilst reaching back to Florenceā€™s roots. The new album will feature collaborations from the likes of Kamasi Washington, Sampha, Tobias Jesso Jr, Kelsey Lu and Jamie xx, and as Florence describes it, ā€œis a pure expression of who I am now, as an artist, and an honest one.ā€

In a huge coup, it can also be announced that breakout 16-year-old sensation Billie Eilish will join Florence + The Machine on their Sydney, Adelaide and Geelong dates. Earlier this year, Eilish played her debut Australian shows, thrilling fans at St. Jeromeā€™s Laneway Festival and two sold-out headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne. Her latest single, ā€˜lovelyā€™ (with budding superstar Khalid) is an emotional pop affair, and has already gone Gold in Australia while racking up more than 97 million streams.

Supporting Florence + The Machine on their Australian dates is New Zealand indie-troubadour,Ā Marlon Williams.Ā Williams has just completed a sold-out world tour for his sophomore album, Make Way For Love, which included major US television appearances on CONAN and Last Call With Carson Daly, plus recent touring with the likes of Bruce Springsteen and City & Colour.

Florence + The Machine return in January to play fan favourites and debut songs from High As Hope in Australia for the very first time. So what are you waiting for? This is a concert we can’t afford to miss! For more details and to book tickets click here.
