With the 2011 Crush Adelaide Hills Wine and Food Festival coming up at the end of this month, the Glam Adelaide team decided to share a bit about what they are Crushing on in the Adelaide Hills.
Kelly: “My Crush is on the virgin Spanish Summer Traveller Cocktails at Somerled Cellar Door for the designated drivers and pregnant girls like myself! Otherwise, I love spending the afternoon at Udder Delights in the main street of Hahndorf.”
Hayley: “I’m Crushing on eating a Middle Eastern Feast of slow-roasted lamb in warm pita from Lobethal Road Wines, then coming home from the Crush festival with my copy of Adelaide Hills Magazine and lazing on the deck drinking Lambrook Spark.”
Sophie: “Living in the suburbs by the sea is nice, but my Crush is on going to the Adelaide Hills and drinking the best wines that Australia has to offer. It’s so lovely and fresh and green, which which can be a nice change. My pick would be O’Leary Walker Wines – I love their Pinot!”
Katharine: “I’m Crushing on the beautiful scenery and delicious food in the Adelaide Hills – although I don’t know a thing about wine! I’m looking forward to ‘testing’ some locally-produced wine and expanding my knowledge, while also enjoying the company of friends and the fresh Hills air.”
Caitlin: “I’m Crushing on Adam Liaw! I love cooking and I can’t wait to go to his class at Longview Vineyard!”
