Peel Street is one of the city’s designated good times destinations, and it will be living up to this yet again for New Year’s Eve.
Just off of Hindley Street, Peel Street is the little lane that does not disappoint for a delicious cocktail, vibing tunes and late night fun. It will be sending this in full to welcome the new year.
The sexy array of bars will be kicking open their doors early from 4pm, while restaurants will be open all day to dish up your favourite tapas, end of year feasts and snacks.
Adding some theatre to the night will be live DJs on the street sound tracking the good vibes. There will also be a laser light display and fireworks thanks to Adelaide City Council’s Midnight Moments NYE initiative.
Most venues in the street will have their own mini fiestas.
For the first time ever, Bread & Bone will be opening its doors this NYE. They’ll be flipping juicy burgers, shaking fine cocktails and partying into the night. From 9pm, Bread & Bone will host their house party DJ duo Notorious V.A.G to sound track your way into 2022.
With free entry, they will be spinning the perfect mix of old school hip hop, classics, rock n roll anthem and everything in between. Food and drink will be available from 11:30am until late while $5 pickleback shots will be poured at midnight.
Meanwhile downstairs under Bread & Bone, Maybe Mae will be welcoming the new year in great style. They’re inviting you to gather your friends, grab a booth and delight yourselves with their premium cocktail and champagne list.
There’s booth packages available with full table service for those who are keen to stay the night. Before 10pm enjoy a 2 hour package with a minimum spend of $300 in a booth that can fit 4 to 7 people.
After 10pm indulge in a celebration booth package with a $500 minimum spend. Party goers are welcome to add champagne to their night with a $250 2013 Vintage Pol Roger Package.
Extra Chicken Salt will be shaking away 2021 and raising their glasses to 2022. They will be offering a $65 NYE banquet from 5pm, then taking in the retro vibes serving cocktails, food and good times till 2am.
Other Peel Street venues participating in the NYE festivities are Alfred’s, Malt & Juniper, Kafana, Clever Little Tailor, Gondola Gondola, Bambini, Tempus and Paloma. While they are yet to finalise their their NYE plans, we do not doubt Peel Street is sending it big into the New Year.
