What’s on this weekend in Adelaide

Even though the Fringe may be over, things are definitely not quietening down here in Adelaide and there is plenty to get involved in this coming weekend. 

Australian Fashion Group clearance sample sale – March 25-27

Australian Fashion Group are having an epic clearance sale this weekend spanning from March 25 to March 27, with massive price reductions of up to 90% and nothing over $60. Major brands such as C/MEO Collective, Keepsake, The Fifth Label, and Finders Keepers will be included in the sale as well as one-of-a-kind samples that have never been seen. 

Come along to Austin St City (Australian Fashion Group carpark, behind 233 North Terrace) from 10am to 6pm this weekend. 

Delta Goodrem ‘Bridge Over Troubled Dreams’ tour – March 25

Australian superstar Delta Goodrem is bringing her Bridge Over Troubled Dreams tour to Adelaide this Friday, March 25. Goodrem will be playing her much loved hits including“Born To Try”, “Sitting On Top Of The World” and “Wings” as well as recent singles “Keep Climbing,” “Paralyzed” and “The Power” from her number one album Bridge Over Troubled Dreams.

Boheme on the Beach – March 26

If you are after a night of romance and music under the stars, the one-night-only opera spectacular, Boheme on the Beach, is for you. 

The State Opera is bringing Puccini’s epic love story to Adelaide’s most iconic beach landscape, Glenelg, for a magical one-night-only experience featuring Australia’s best opera voices accompanied by the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra.

Pennington Gardens Market – March 27

Pennington Gardens Market is the newest venture from the team behind Sparkling Red Events; an artisan fair with an abundance of stalls, activities, and music showcasing the best of South Australian wares. 

The market will feature 70 stalls, all fronted by SA locals as the focus is on supporting and promoting small businesses that are just starting out. 

The live music throughout the day will be South Australian acoustic musicians Ruby Travis and Jordan D’Sena, who will provide the perfect atmosphere for market dwellers. 

Pennington Gardens Market will take place on Sunday 27 March from 10am – 3pm.

Beachside Food and Wine Festival – March 26

The popular Beachside Food and Wine Festival will return this Saturday March 26 at Rotary Park, Christies Beach. 

After first appearing in Adelaide back in 2012, the festival is back and even better this year showcasing a vast array of market stalls, food, wine and live entertainment. 

This free community event will likely attract thousands of people if its anything like past events, so come prepared to get amongst a fun and vibrant atmosphere and enjoy the best of what South Australia has to offer. 

Beachside Food and Wine Festival will take place at Christies Beach Rotary Park on Saturday March 26 from 4pm-9pm.

2022 WineTime series at Summertown Studio – March 25

If you’re looking for a new place for your Friday night knock-offs, what better place is there to enjoy a wine and unwind than at a cosy, repurposed warehouse in Somerton Park. 

Following the success of years gone by, the team at Summertown Studio are bringing back their much-loved WineTime series for 2022. 

Leave the stress of your week behind and come and relax in Summertown’s cosy couches, sip on some local wines and enjoy the sounds of some amazing new and established South Australian musicians. 

There will also be plenty of food to enjoy, with street-style favourites such as Staazi, Gang Gang and Moorish Bites for all your cuisine needs. 

There’s no need to book, and tickets are just $5 to be paid upon entry.
