The Best Places To Watch The Grand Final

Plans to enjoy the outdoors have gone out the window with back yards flooded across the State. So here are a few hotels to cozy up in who will be showing the big game.

Rejoice Adelaide Fans. After a impressive performance against Geelong, we’re totally in the grand final! This year we will see the big dance returning to the last day in September and lucky for us the weather gods have brought the sun out to shine on Saturday.

If you can’t get to the game, don’t worry, Adelaide has a lot happening this weekend. Whether you’re a Crows fan rooting for them to break their 19 year premiership drought or backing the Tigers, we hope you enjoy your day!

We have compiled a list of pubs and venues across the city for you to watch the GF, where there’s no dishes to clean up afterwards. How great!

The Stag, 299 Rundle St  Grab a jug of Carlton Draught for $20 and enjoy half a kilo of wings with your mates while you watch the big game on their huge screen. What more could you want?

The Maid Hotel, 1 Magill Rd Get amongst great company, delicious food and great drink specials. Plus, as an added bonus they will be handing out free sweeps for the first 78 bookings! $50 Maid voucher & free drinks cards up for grabs, sounds good right?

The Highway, 290 Anzac Hwy This classic pub has a rocking beer garden with a massive screen for your viewing pleasure. Gates open at 10am and it’s first in, best dressed! No reservations, footy supporter gear is a must! So head on in straight after you’ve finished your morning smashed avo, this is always a popular visit.

The TA Hotel, 95 Belair Road Catch all of the hot action live on their courtyard big screen! They will be rocking $10 espresso martinis, $6 pints of Carlton Draught & a free half time BBQ as well! Neat! They take reservations too so give them a call to secure your spot.

The Unley, 27 Unley Rd The roof top will be letting the sun shine through (we hope), the TV will be pumping and the beers will be flowing.

The Mile End, 30 Henley Beach Rd Footy + beer = heaven so if you want to pick from 12 on tap beers (yes, 12) then this is the pub for you on Saturday.

The Havelock Hotel, 162 Hutt St  For $30 per person, expect to bask in ‘Footy Food’ every quarter & before the game, exclusive drink specials and a giant screen in the main bar to see the clash.

The Curious Squire, 10 O’Connell St Expect this one to go off. The boys at the squire are offering free beer for the entire first quarter! (In moderation of course). Specials Crows & Tigers burgers are on offer as well as a delicious burger/chips/pint combo for $20. Yum! Book your table now.

Hotel Royal, 180 Henley Beach Rd The sports bar has screens a plenty, a homely atmosphere, a kitchen close by and for just $30 + booking fee, you can pre-book yourself a food and drink package! For those not interested in packages, all day dining and drink specials will be on offer throughout the day. These guys open from 10am!

The Arkaba (Top of the Ark), 150 Glen Osmond Rd Adelaide’s premiere sports bar, come cheer on your team and watch the action live and loud on three huge 100 inch screens. For $10 + booking fee you can get guaranteed entry plus one free drink! This is the place for the serious footy lovers.

The Arkaba (Sportys), 150 Glen Osmond Rd Doors are opening bright and early here at 9am. Hosted by Jarrod Walsh, you can expect yummy meals all day, face painters for the kiddies, player sweeps, games prizes and much much more! They also have some serious food & drink packages if they’re your game as well.

Sky City Adelaide, North Terrace If you are indecisive and want a million different screens, The Casino is the place for you. There is the classic sports grandstand bar as well as the backyard beer garden. Safely put, there are a few options for you here to choose from.

Lady Burra Brewhouse, 4 Topham Mall  Lady Burra are embracing the red, yellow and blue. With tasty Portuguese-inspired dishes, drink specials and post game entertainment on offer, show your support and make a night of it as well!

The Kensi, 23 Regent St There will be sneaky beer from 1-3PM ($5 tap beers), nibbles provided, a player raffle and to top it off drink specials all day! Doors open here at 11am, so check it out!

Pizzateca, 319 Chalk Hill Road, McLaren Vale  For those of you looking to escape the city, Pizzateca may be for you. Footy, Pizza, Beer and Wine, what a perfect mix right? They are also running buses to pick you up from the CBD where you will receive a complimentary beer and another for when you arrive. Big screens on site as well.

Republic, 120 Magill Rd Whether you are after a $59 food & drink package that will keep you covered for the day, or delicious $15 parmy’s & $5 tap beers siren to siren, Republic is a great spot to catch the game! Watch the match on their 3m x 2m jumbo screen, the big screen and surrounding televisions. Doors open from 11am.

The Moseley, 11 Moseley Square Beach lover? Well you’re in luck! These guys are serving brekky from 8am and screening the game live from midday. Mix it in with beautiful scenery and live acoustic music later on, and you’re set for a big day!

The Hyde Park Tavern, 187 King William Rd From siren to siren, you’ll find awesome $5.50 drink specials to quench your thirst and at half time you can embrace your true Aussie spirit with a free sausage sizzle.

The Grand Bar, 2 Jetty Road Watch the biggest game of the year, live and loud at the bay! Score free Schooners of West End, siren to 1st goal and enjoy a yummy bbq cooked out on the deck. Not too sure how long those bevvy’s will last so be ready to nab yours quick!

The Warradale, 234 Diagonal Rd The newly renovated Warradale is a great choice for those not too keen on venturing to the city. Chill out in the warm and vibrant garden bar while viewing the game on their 10′ LED screen. Doors open and food available from 11am!

The Goody, 75 Goodwood Rd Lots of good stuff happening here (see what i did there?). $25 corona buckets, $20 great northern buckets, $6.50 carlton draught pints or grab a feed with a sniddy & corona combo for $20! These awesome deals are available 12-5.

Adelaide Oval, War Memorial Drive If you can’t be at the G, then Adelaide Oval is the place to be!
