South Australia’s COVID-19 testing regime has seen multiple record breaking days one after the other.
Yesterday’s numbers unveiled a new record with an excess of 6000 tests conducted by SA Pathology and private laboratories.
“Testing is a massive cornerstone of our COVID-19 response,” SA’s Premier, Steven Marshall says.
“That’s a result of our outstanding team, lead by Tom Dodd.”
SA Pathology, initially forecast upwards of 500 tests a day, with records ranging in excess of 5000.
The Aldinga GP’s new drive-through clinic has opened, complementing the hugely successful Victoria Park drive through clinic that opened yesterday.
The Aldinga drive-through will be open seven days a week from 8am ’til 4.30pm.
