Why The Greenhouse Is The Venue You Need For Your Next Function

With sophisticated dining in a lofty atrium filled with greenery and flooded with natural light — what more could you ask for?

Looking for somewhere to celebrate a milestone with all your loved ones or host a corporate event? We think you’ll want to check out the newly refurbished Greenhouse at The Feathers Hotel.

Think sophisticated dining in a lofty atrium filled with greenery and flooded with natural light. Equipped with blinds that can be drawn back in the evening to reveal the night sky, this chic atrium space is reminiscent of a NYC rooftop.

The much-loved Eastern suburbs pub turned fine-dining establishment is the perfect spot to gather for good food and good wine — in an elegant, yet inviting space.

Host a cocktail party for 100 guests, a sit down dinner for 70 under the stars, or take advantage of the warm light that streams in through the lush green atrium for a luxe long lunch.

Canapés and meals inspired by the meeting of British cuisine and Southeast Asian spice trails have been designed by executive head chef, Luke Brabin, using beautiful, fresh produce from local suppliers.

Enjoy a two or three course set menu, featuring a to-die-for grazing board of meats, cheeses, breads and five-spiced squid for the appetiser — or a share menu highlighting signature dishes from the a la carte. We’re talking Coffin Bay oysters, Singaporean soft-shell crab, Nonya beef cheek among a range of Southeastern-inspired sides and desserts exploring the flavours of Singapore, China and Malaysia.

Canapes can be served cocktail-style or as platters, with the option to choose from hot and cold canapé staples such as the assorted sushi, peking duck pancakes, arancini, sliders and fried chicken karaage. Or grab a selection of some more substantial mini bowls, featuring favourites such as tempura barramundi and butter chicken.

Plus — because we all know there’s nothing that lifts the mood at a sophisticated event more than the buzz of excited murmurs when the quintessential party favourites circulate — chef Brabin has stylishly spun Aussie celebration staples such as the snag (serving up a mini chorizo hot dog with onion, chimmi churi and cheese) and even the classic pie floater with pea soup and a tasty tomato relish.

An in-view fine wine cellar features a range of international and local drops perfect for fine-dining, with package options to suit all event structures and styles.

Just writing about it gets us excited!
